    HubHealth of South Mississippi, Inc.

    HubHealth is an IPA (independent physicians association).  We are member-owned and managed by a board of directors made up of 8 physicians, along with a Medical Director.  We provide managed care credentialing for approximately 200 providers from 21 different clinics, including primary care and specialty care.

    Job Description:

    The Executive Director will serve as a liaison to the board of directors and will provide the day-to-day management and operations of HubHealth, working closely with the Credentialing Specialist to ensure timely and accurate credentialing processes required by payers.  The ideal candidate brings a background in healthcare credentialing and payer relationship management.   

    Hours of operation are M-F 8:00am to 4:30pm, and board meetings are held once a month in the evening at 6:00pm.   This position will have on the job training.

    Key Responsibilities:

    ·       Attend monthly board meetings with the board of directors and prepare agendas, previous minutes and address any issues to the board regarding the management of HubHealth or projects the directors may request.

    ·       Oversee the end-to-end provider credentialing and re-credentialing process for all HubHealth members.

    ·       Update and maintain policies and procedures for HubHealth, meeting NCQA guidelines, and fulfilling compliance with state and federal regulations.

    ·       Prepare and respond to all payer audits and requests.

    ·       Fulfill and execute Provider Enrollment, including roster submissions.

    ·       Responsible for all accounts receivable and payable, which include processing statements and invoices monthly.

    •    Coordinates with each clinics administrator to resolve credentialing issues.

    Qualifications:

    The Executive Director is required to have leadership and collaborative skills.   This role would be best filled by someone with preferred healthcare credentialing and payer contracting experience, and 3+ years in an executive or administrative role.   The ideal candidate must be able to self-manage and be motivated.   They should be able to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and written.  This person should have experience with Excel, word processing and Microsoft office and will work in QuickBooks.  A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is a requirement.
