OVERVIEW:

Highly respected solo ophthalmology practice in Starkville, MS seeks an individual to join us as our team business leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is ideal for you if you desire to be in a growth environment with the goal of building your career while leading our day-to-day operations, personnel, compliance, revenue cycle management, EMR (Med-Mod), and computer network oversight.

You’ll be given the responsibility for advancing the practice mission and cultivating a culture of excellence and excitement in daily practice operations, while engaging routinely with the physician-owner for constructive feedback and ongoing opportunities to define, articulate, and drive comprehensive goals for practice success and growth.

You will have the opportunity to oversee ~15 team members that includes an optical dispensary and new state-of-the-art free-standing surgery center managed by its clinical director.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Business degree and some prior ophthalmology practice experience highly preferred though leadership experience in other practice specialties or progressive business environments will be considered. Additionally, you must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and teambuilding skills.

This is a full-time position in a pleasant work environment with competitive compensation including incentive bonus and benefits. Expenses will be considered for relocating to this thriving area. Starkville is the county seat of Oktibbeha, Mississippi. It is the home to Mississippi State University and to teams participating in the SEC. As of the 2019 census, the city had a population of approximately 25,000, making for a “small town” feel in the Golden Triangle region of Mississippi.
